The Petersham Hotel & Restaurant, Richmond

The Petersham Hotel is set on Richmond Hill looking across Petersham Meadows to the bend in the Thames – one of the UK’s most famous views, painted by both Joshua Reynolds and JMW Turner. The privately-owned 60-room hotel dates back to 1865, it was created by the architect John Giles who designed The Langham hotel in Portland Place, London. Today, the hotel’s restaurant, Restaurant at The Petersham, is headed up by chef Alex Bentley. His menu features British Classics using fresh seasonal ingredients.
