Hotel La Tremoille, Paris

Hotel La Trémoille is a private hideaway in the centre of Paris, just footsteps from the fashionable Avenue Montaigne and the Champs Elysées. Set in an original 19th century Haussman building it has 93 guestrooms and suites.

In the 1960s, La Trémoille was the hub of Paris’ jazz scene – a meeting place for Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong as captured in Paris Match. Today, in a nod to the history of the hotel, The Duke Ellington and the Louis Armstrong suites have been aptly named in honour of the two jazz greats. The contemporary design includes opulent materials such as silk, taffeta and flannel in dark pinks, grey and aubergine, evoking a sultry jazz club ambience.
