Astoria7

Astoria7 – San Sebastian’s first contemporary hotel – and a favourite meeting place for locals from the moment it opened. To create the hotel, the well-known Astoria Cinema was rebuilt to house Astoria7. Each of the 102 rooms is dedicated to personalities, actors and movie directors, who have all attended the annual International San Sebastian Film Festival. Elsewhere in the hotel, the restrained use of 1950s style and movie memorabilia – old cinema posters, a line of cinema seats in the lobby – have been used to great effect, to create a fun but subtle interior.
