Product Placement Campaign for LUXE City Guides - Online and Offline

The Brief

LUXE City Guides, the ultra-smart travel companions, appointed Mango PR to help raise awareness of the brand in the UK and increase sales – online and on the high street.  The focus for the 2010 campaign was to launch LUXE City Guides’ new Mobile Apps, launch its new bespoke box sets, and maintain exposure of its individual City Guides.

The Solution

A strategic product placement campaign working with outlets that  potential LUXE City Guides’ target audience would tune in to.   In line with the product, the focus was on the lifestyle, fashion, consumer and travel press.  Media targets included: social media channels; bloggers;  online publications; national newspapers and glossy magazines.

Mango PR also worked with LUXE City Guides to set up partnerships with the digital outlets of the UK’s most influential national broadsheets. Here Mango arranged for LUXE City Guide Editors to contribute content to the website.  These articles promoted LUXE City Guides direct to the websites’ audiences, giving them up-to-date information on the world’s top cities, all written in the hyper-opinionated, take-no-prisoners LUXE style.
